Composite & Synthetic

Synthetic composite roofing shingles or tiles are made of a mixture of several commonly used materials including asphalt, fiberglass, clay, and recycled paper products. Synthetic composite shingles look like traditional roofing materials but they don’t have the same maintenance requirements. They are fire resistant and moisture proof. Some brands are even resistant to algae and mold growth.

DaVinci shingles is the leading manufacturer, they have a Class 4 impact rating, which is the highest rating a roofing material can have.

This means they stand up well to anything that hits your roof, including extreme weather, such as hail. Because of this durability, composite shingles are one of the longest-lasting roofing materials on the market.

As long as the roof is installed correctly, you can expect to get around 40-50 years of life out of a composite roof.
